Out of the Box is a project that shares the stories of 25 Deaf and disabled New Zealanders. This was my design major project, created in collaboration with Benjamin Ackerman. Together, we illustrated this book, which will be released next year by Otago University Press, with Trish Harris the author and our client for this project.

This is a mock-up of the book, not the final version, so some things may change. This project was such a fun and valuable learning experience for me, especially in representing people through illustration.
